Tempered / Toughened Glass

The main purpose of using tempered glass is to lessen the extent of damage caused by accidental events to any particular object or structure. It is manufactured with a special process of heating the glass to a higher temperature of 600 degree Celsius, then it is processed to rapid cooling process, where the outer layer is cooled rapidly and inner body is allowed to cool down gradually.
